When a high fashion designer store opens at an ultra-luxury address, the centre of attention should ideally be the clothes. But when AM:PM, a store of pret clothing by the designer duo Ankur and Priyanka Modi, opened its glass doors, I stepped into a library. Often, I have felt that a closet is so much like a well-organised library, but never thought I will see that illusion turn to reality. In an age when libraries have been replaced by ebooks and fast discounted online deliveries, AM:PM has designed its new store at DLF Emporio Mall, Vasant Kunj, around a neo-classical library with a touch of the contemporary.
